On Friday we learned that Reflex Press had three books on the shortlists for the 2020 Saboteur Awards:
- Witches Sail in Eggshells by Chloe Turner for Best Short Story Collection
- Some Days Are Better Than Ours by Barbara Byar for Best Short Story Collection
- The Real Jazz Baby (Reflex Fiction Volume Two) for Best Anthology
It means a huge amount to us because these awards are decided exclusively by public votes. So thanks to everyone who voted in the first round to get these fabulous books on the shortlists.
Just reaching the shortlists is a significant achievement, especially considering the quality of the other shortlistees, but dare we hope for more?
